A wonderful opportunity awaits visitors of the Frötscherhof. The Plose ski area is only 1.5 km away and offers great slopes for every passionate skier.

The ski bus stops directly in front of the Frötscherhof, which makes it very easy and comfortable to reach the ski area.

If you would like to experience the winter landscape in another way, you can go snow hiking to nearby mountain huts. You can also enjoy sledding, which is fun for the whole family.

A new attraction is the Plosebob, which is open all year round and offers an exciting adventure you should not miss.

After an active day, you can relax in the sauna by the pond at the Frötscherhof, where you can enjoy a beautiful view.

Location

The Frötscherhof is located in the small village Mellaun in St. Andrä, only 1.5 km from the beautiful ski area Plose and 5 km above the historic town of Brixen.

The Plose is especially popular for skiing and sledding. Snow-reliable slopes in the white winter landscape are waiting for you.

Whether you ski in a relaxed way or love exciting runs, the excellent slopes and lifts on the Plose offer great experiences for everyone.

Directly in front of the house there is also a private ice rink, perfect for ice skating and hockey lovers.

Apartment “Birke” (Birch)

The apartment Birke is named after the beautiful birch trees behind the house and has a view toward Brixen. In summer, the morning sun shines on the breakfast table.

The apartment has:

• a large living kitchen
• three bedrooms (3 double beds)
• three bathrooms
• space for one extra bed
• three covered balconies

From the balconies you can see St. Andrä, Mellaun, Brixen, the Eisack Valley and the beautiful Dolomites.

The Zirm room can also be booked separately for two people.

Apartment “Lärche” (Larch)

The apartment Lärche is a place of peace and relaxation. It is named after the large larch trees behind the house.

It is located in the attic and offers a beautiful view of Brixen, St. Andrä/Mellaun, the Plose and the Dolomites.

The apartment includes:

• a living room with kitchenette
• balcony
• shower and toilet
• two separate bedrooms

Apartment “Linde” (Linden)

The apartment Linde is named after the historic linden tree that stands directly below the house.

It includes:

• a large living room with kitchenette
• shower and toilet
• two separate bedrooms
• one double bed
• one bunk bed
• extra bed possible
• a large covered terrace

From the terrace you have a beautiful view of the Eisack Valley, Brixen and the Dolomites.

Apartment “Nussbaum” (Walnut)

The apartment Nussbaum is named after the large walnut tree in front of the house and is located in the **southern part of the house.

It has:

• a large living room with kitchenette
• a day toilet
• a large covered terrace (16 m²)

From the terrace you can see farm life, the southern Eisack Valley, Brixen and the Dolomites.

A special internal staircase connects the living area with the two bedrooms and the bathroom:

• one double bedroom
• one twin bedroom
• extra bed possible
