Skiing on Europe’s largest high Alpine pasture in the Dolomites

The 62 km of wide, sunny slopes on the Seiser Alm offer the perfect conditions for both beginners and experienced skiers: beginners can ease their way into the sport, while advanced skiers can challenge themselves on the red and black slopes.

A special highlight of the Alpe di Siusi ski area: “Sci ai piedi” – skiing without ever having to take off your skis. While in many other ski resorts you often need to unclip your skis before every gondola ride – leading to long waiting times and queues – on the Seiser Alm skiers can save valuable time. Here you will only find chairlifts and drag lifts, which means – as the Italian saying goes – you can keep your “sci ai piedi”. Skis only need to be removed for a relaxing lunch break in one of the mountain huts. Even road crossings are cleverly solved with overpasses, ensuring a smooth skiing experience without interruptions.

The Seiser Alm is considered one of the most family-friendly ski areas in the Alps. It offers slopes of varying difficulty levels, modern chairlifts and lifts with child safety devices, as well as two ski schools where children can learn to ski in a playful way. Fun and action are also guaranteed: the SEiser Alm Snowpark – the largest in South Tyrol – along with various fun parks for children, timed slalom runs, speed-control slopes, and a ski movie slope.

NEW – Interactive Ski Escape Game
Families, teenagers, and the young at heart can look forward to a unique skiing adventure on the Seiser Alm: the “Witches’ Flight over the Seiser Alm” – an interactive escape game along the Seiser Alm Ronda that stretches across the entire ski area. Participants can choose between two levels of difficulty and complete the circuit either in one day or spread across several days. Equipped with a treasure map, the goal is to collect symbols at seven stations, solve riddles via an app, and interact with the surroundings to complete the adventure.

The Seiser Alm and Val Gardena together form a single ski area with a total of 181 km of slopes and 79 lifts: the Alpe di Siusi/Val Gardena ski area is the largest within the Dolomiti Superski network. Exciting ski circuits such as the Seiser Alm Ronda, the Seiser Alm/Val Gardena Ronda, and the famous Sellaronda take skiers through the Dolomites in a single day.
