Schi fond Region Murau

The region Murau has a well groomed network of cross-country ski trails and offers all levels of difficulty for beginners to professionals.

*The cross-country trails in the Laßnitz (cross-country trail center Weirerteich) have been awarded the Styrian cross-country trail quality seal.

*Round courses
The round courses in Murau, at the Zechnerhof in St. Lorenzen and in front of Stadl an der Mur guarantee a special kind of cross-country skiing experience. There are also very nice cross-country trails in Ranten and in Steirisch Laßnitz for young and old!

*along the Mur
Depending on the snow conditions, a part of the Murradweg is also groomed, which runs parallel to the Mur and Murtalbahn - this allows the cross-country skier the interesting combination of "narrow boards" and "narrow-gauge railroad". In fact, if you only want to cover part of the distance on the trail, you can easily switch to the rail at one of the eleven stops.
