Thanks to our central location in the heart of Saalfelden am Steinernen Meer, surrounded by the Hohe Tauern National Park and the Steinernes Meer mountains, we offer you clean and affordable accommodation. In our vicinity, the Maria Alm and Leogang ski areas—with connections to Hinterglemm—are among the most exciting travel destinations. Alm 34 has been family-run for 8 years. Our goal is to provide you with a clean and budget-friendly holiday destination.

Light and glass define the architecture of Hostel Alm 34 in Saalfelden. Located at the foot of the Steinernes Meer, the modern building offers 82 double rooms, one single room, and six shared apartments accommodating up to 183 guests—plenty of space for living and relaxing.

With a well-thought-out spatial concept, practical interior design, and a dedicated color scheme, the hostel has been perfectly tailored to meet guests’ needs.

The barrier-free hostel provides space for both individuality and community. On the ground floor, you will find the foyer, dining hall, and leisure areas. The three upper floors house the living and communal spaces.

In Alm 34, you have a variety of sports and leisure options:

Outdoor: Football (soccer), basketball, volleyball, running, badminton, cycling
In winter: Skiing and cross-country skiing

Indoor: Table football (foosball), billiards, darts, board games, and live broadcasts on the big screen upon request
