Winter hiking trail: Großarl to Hüttschlag

Drive with your own car to the Reitwiese parking lot (winter only) next to the Gruber carpentry or take the Postbus No. 540 to the bus stop Großarl Lagerhaus. From here, follow the Bergstraße and walk past the company premises of Baumeister Kaiser - immediately after, the Achenpromenade continues and leads leisurely to Landhaus Neumayr. Then you cross the Ache again and follow the path to the "Harbachhäuser" (approx. 5 km). Afterwards, cross the street at the power plant and walk a bit uphill to Griesbichlhof. Finally, continue along the Ache to the last houses. Here you cross the street once more and pass the Neuhof Chapel. Now go behind the tunnel into the village center of Hüttschlag (approx. 8 km from Großarl) - return via the same route or return by bus.
