VALCHIUSELLA Loop Fondo - Tissone - Tallorno

Cross the stone bridge and turn left. After a few hundred meters, take the path that climbs on the right and, with several switchbacks, reaches Tissone. Leave the mouflon path and on the left, after passing some isolated huts, take the path that, after crossing a stream, begins to descend to the valley floor path that connects Fondo to Talorno. Then turn right and reach Talorno: continue among the houses until you take the bridge on the left. Then pass near the chapel of Madonna della Neve and leave the village. On the left, a dirt road starts that returns to Fondo, passing first next to the Romanesque bridge and the waterfall. 

If you do not want to do the ascent to Tissone, minimizing elevation gain and difficulty, you can continue straight on the path along the stream that goes from Fondo to Talorno.

Non-slip sole footwear, wind/rain protection, and a warm layer are recommended.

Follow the entire Valchiusella, pass Traversella and reach Fondo (where the road open to the public ends).

Just after crossing the Fondo bridge there is parking near the cemetery. A small parking area is also located just before the village of Fondo.
