_The route starts from the end of the Valle Loana municipal road, from where you cross the stream of the same name on the walkway located at the end of the large dirt square. Leaving Alpe Le Cascine on your right, continue along the large plateau, at the end of which the climb towards the Fornaci area begins (1360m, water point). From here the hiker can choose whether to follow the Lower Ring, descending to the base of the last stepped ramp, turning right, crossing the Loana stream again at a small ford and continuing on the tractor-trail track, on the right side of the valley, passing the 'Alpe Loana (1320m) to return to the start in Fondo Li Gabbi.
HIGH RING_continue the climb, passing through Alpe Cortenuovo (1790m) and soon gain altitude again up to Alpe Scaredi (1840m), home to the bivouac of the same name, on the watershed with Val Portaiola and access point to the Val National Park Great. Following the watershed, go up the northern side of the Cima della Laurasca up to the crossroads (2020m), where you turn left, cutting across the entire basin above the Laghetti del Marmo up to the saddle (2060m), where you cross it and, with a long traverse , you gradually descend to Alpe Cortechiuso (1880m). From here you go up the ridge, which you follow, keeping mainly on the Loana Valley side, up to Forcola (1700m), from where a steep hairpin descent begins up to Alpe Loana, to reconnect to the last stretch of the Anello Basso and then return to Fondo Li Gabbi (1260m).
