The route follows the course of the Dora from Bardonecchia to Oulx crossing extensive stretches of woods and includes access points from the nearby state road via bridges that cross the river and the railway at the hamlet of Royeres and the fraction of Savoulx. Some notice boards along the way illustrate the route, clearly indicating the point where you are, and a sign every five hundred meters shows how much distance has been covered and how much remains to the destination (in both directions, towards Oulx and towards Bardonecchia). Upon reaching Beaulard, you cross the village and return to the route which continues until arriving at the town of Oulx.

From the train station, cross the bridge over the Frejus Stream and at the roundabout turn left onto Via Torino. Follow the road and at the fork take the SS335 towards Oulx. After traveling a couple of kilometers on asphalt, turn right under the railway at Rocca Tagliata and cross the green iron footbridge on the left where the dirt track of the former cross-country skiing trail begins. Continue until you reach Beaulard; just before the level crossing, turn right and follow the road keeping left after the fountain until the sports field; turn left and, before the bridge, take the dirt path on the right next to the campsite. Proceed until you reach Lago Verde. Immediately afterwards, you enter the town of Oulx, from where it is possible to take the train back to Bardonecchia.

The road from Rocca Tagliata to Oulx is closed to motor vehicles.
By car:
- A32 Turin - Bardonecchia highway, Bardonecchia exit
- State Road 24: Turin - Oulx and then State Road 335: Oulx - Bardonecchia
Once you reach Bardonecchia, head along Via Torino towards the parking lots adjacent to the Police Headquarters
By train:
- line Torino Porta Nuova - Bardonecchia
From Bardonecchia train station, head toward the Police Headquarters on Via Torino
Parking adjacent to the Police Headquarters or, to avoid the first piece of asphalt, directly at Rocca Tagliata.

This route is part of the easily accessible trail network from the Sentiero Italia.
Recommended route for children.
