MTB Sauerbründl route

The mountain bike route starts in Bad Sauerbrunn and leads along the border path through the forest up to the Rosalia. Past the Gspitzen Riegl it continues along to the Süßenbrunnerweg, where the route now runs downhill. At this fork, you can also take a detour to the Wiesen/Lanzenkirchen observation tower on the Steinkogel as well as to the summit of the Heuberg to the Rosalia Chapel. There you can enjoy extraordinary views and excellent resting opportunities. You can see far into the Pannonian Plain, over Lake Neusiedl, to Bratislava and the Vienna Basin on one side, as well as the Schneeberg and the Bucklige Welt on the other side. Then it goes down to our Lower Austrian neighbors in Frohsdorf, where the Lower Austrian Hof invites you to stop for a meal and Schloss Katzelsdorf lies on the way. Then on to Neudörfl with numerous Heurigens and accommodation options. You complete the round route again in Bad Sauerbrunn. There awaits the chill spa park with the Rosarium and excellent gastronomy around the main square.
