Valmorel, the first Tarentaise resort

Nestled at the foot of the imposing Cheval Noir mountain, Valmorel captivates with its unique charm, a blend of authenticity and modernity.

The entire station revolves around the main pedestrian street, a constantly snow-covered street where pedestrians are king! Buildings limited to 4 floors, plots, covered car parks, Valmorel stands out for its perfect mountain integration. In addition to being located in the heart of a linked ski area with more than 160km of slopes, Valmorel is THE "ski in" resort, with easily accessible ski lifts.

Backing onto the Beaufortain, the Nâves valley (45mn drive from Valmorel or Doucy) is one of those few havens of peace and tranquility which still remain in the heart of the Alps. Here, mountain pastures, forests, the sound of nature and streams shape the landscape and the atmosphere.

The Nordic site, Labeled Nordic France is open from December 11, 2023 to Mach 31, 2024 and offers 42km of cross-country ski trails (classic and skating) groomed every day and secure.

The Bozon slope gives access to the Carrolet loop (2085m altitude) which allows you to ski on the highest slope in Savoie, with a magnificent panorama of the Vanoise, Lauzière and Beaufortain massifs.
